Husband Allegedly Found Attacker Online

A Kannapolis man, who arranged for another man to rape his wife, is now in jail on a $200,000 bond and is charged with first-degree rape. The husband allegedly responded to two personal ads on Craigslist while looking for someone to have sex with his wife. The police are unsure of whether or not the husband paid the attacker. The wife was treated at a hospital and released after calling 911 and reporting that a man with a knife had raped her in her bedroom.

The police became suspicious of the 25 year old husband when they found no signs of forced entry into the home and say the husband was in the room during the rape. The attacker is still on the loose and police are pursuing what they describe as a "strong lead." The name of the husband was not released to protect the wife's privacy.
